About the Role:

As the School Partnerships and Programs Coordinator you’ll be an integral part of our operational team for one of the largest theatre education programs in Seattle. Your responsibilities will range from stewarding authentic relationships with educational partners, coordinating the daily needs for teaching artists to be successful in their workshops and residencies, supporting events and programming, and collaborating with the School Partnership and Programs Manager to ensure every SCT program off-site runs smoothly. But that’s not all—you’ll be a key player in SCT’s Education & Engagement Department, where your ideas and insights will help shape the future of our beloved department. Plus, you’ll get to work with an amazing group of creative minds who are as passionate about theatre education as you are.

What’s So Great About SCT?

What You’ll Be Doing:

Be the Fuel for Program Operations:
You’ll support our School Partnerships and Programs Manager while they maintain all back-end programmatic needs to ensure a successful day of workshops and residencies in the field. You’ll be a key administrator for educational partners who want programs at their schools.  You’ll also support and facilitate events, which means some weekend and evening hours.
Track and Analyze:
This position is grant funded, so there will be a fair amount of compiling and analysis needed to support the accountability process. Develop proficiency of Tessitura Database System. Maintain and analyze educator feedback surveys.
Collaborate Like a Pro:
This position works in-person at SCT and closely with our Education & Engagement staff. You’ll support additional departmental programs when possible. Occasionally attend meetings with Marketing and Development teams to support reaching our collaborative goals.
Support the Next Generation:
Support and interact with our students of all ages and learning abilities. This may include being in classrooms, supervising on-site programs, and supporting any in-office student visitors.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An individual who takes initiative on multiple tasks concurrently, and provides follow through.
  • A highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys getting in the weeds and double-checking the work.
  • A patient and kindness-forward teammate who can support young children, stay calm in moments of high-stress and urgency, and provide excellent customer service.
  • A person who thrives in a part-time position and has experience managing their personal schedule well.
  • A willingness to learn and master Tessitura.
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion in your work.
  • A flexible, creative, and collaborative approach to work—and a great sense of humor doesn’t hurt!

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

A Creative Playground:
SCT is a hub of creativity, where you’ll work alongside some of the most passionate and talented people in the industry.
